Open Positions

Lead Teacher
  • The childcare lead teacher shall be at least 18 years of age.
  • The childcare lead teacher shall have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).
  • Must have six months experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program. 

Education Requirements:

  • Must have 12 units in early childhood education and development, 3 units in administration or staff relations, and at least 3 semester units must be related to the care of infants.
  • In addition to the above requirements, candidate must be willing to complete 16 hours of Health and Safety training including: Pediatric CPR, Pediatric First Aid and Preventive Health Practices that included 1 hour of childhood nutrition.
  • The childcare teacher shall be at least 18 years of age.
  • The childcare teacher shall have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).
  • Six months experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program. 

Education Requirements:

  • Must have 12 units in early childhood education and development, and at least 3 semester units must be related to the care of infants. OR
  • Six completed semester units of early childhood education and enrolled in at least 2 semester units at a college until fully qualified.
  • Infant Teacher – 3 completed semester units of early childhood education and 3 completed semester units of infant care and Enrolled in at least 2 semester units at a college until fully qualified.
  • In addition to the above requirements, candidate must be willing to complete Pediatric CPR, Pediatric First Aid and Preventive Health Practices that included 1 hour of childhood nutrition.
  • The childcare teacher’s aide shall be at least 18 years of age.
  • The childcare teacher’s aide shall have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).

Education Requirements:

  • Six semester units in early childhood education or 2 units of early childhood education each semester following initial employment and continuation in an educational program until fully qualified.
  • In addition to the above requirements, candidate must be willing to complete Pediatric CPR, Pediatric First Aid and Preventive Health Practices that include 1 hour of childhood nutrition.

  • The Food Services staff shall be at least 18 years of age.
  • The Food Services staff shall have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training.
